April 2025 saw a 1.9% increase in existing home sales from the previous month, reaching an annual rate of 4.14 million units. This marks a positive shift as buyer confidence begins to rebound. Compared to last year, however, sales are still down by 1.9%.
“We’re seeing a steady, albeit cautious, return of buyers to the market,” said Lawrence Yun, Chief Economist at NAR.
